Eating with soil awareness

Eating where it's good for you and the soil.

Based in Switzerland, Soil to Soul is committed to crossing borders to enable more people to consider their health and the health of our soils when eating. We shine a spotlight on cool producers, provide tips for nutrition based on the latest scientific findings, and annually gather committed individuals for exchange and shared enjoyment at the Soil to Soul Symposium.

Enjoyment is a high value
Soil to Soul's mission is not about preaching, but about coming together joyfully under a common cause. When discussing the future of the planet over a plate of soil-conscious food, we are much more likely to find urgently needed solutions than through sour moralizing. Soil to Soul therefore features restaurants on its website that have excelled in soil-conscious production and preparation.

In collaboration with Ruhe Visits, we visit selected restaurants and producers who stand out for their particularly soil-conscious work. We share their stories, explore unique places, experience their products up close, and get to know the people behind the scenes. Join us on this delicious journey of discovery!

A community with goals
By listing Soil to Soul restaurants, we aim to gradually better connect our community of committed foodies and producers. And to give soil-conscious gastronomy the opportunity to become even more engaged in promoting sustainable agriculture thanks to increased visibility and, hopefully, improved sales.
