Host and manager of Restaurant Klösterle

On the outskirts of the village of Zug in Vorarlberg lies an old Walserhaus (historic wooden cottage) dating back to the 16th century. It is called Klösterle and is the only remaining house in the village. The restaurant at 1500 m.a.s.l. belongs to the Hotel Almhof Schneider. The couple Ethel Hoon and Jakob Zeller are in charge of the kitchen. The two are in their early 30s and met while working at the legendary restaurant Fäviken Magasinet (Sweden). Accordingly, Jakob and Ethel's cuisine is as consistently close to nature and ultra-regional as possible.
