Alpine natural cuisine with Jakob & Ethel of the Klösterle

We are especially pleased to have Ethel Hoon and Jakob Zeller from the restaurant Klösterle as guests at Soil to Soul. Since 2019, the two have been cooking in Lech, a project of the Hotel Almhof Schneider. In their extraordinary restaurant concept, Jakob & Ethel combine alpine natural cuisine with their collective creative experiences. They combine wild mushrooms and herbs from the surrounding meadows and forests, as well as vegetables and fruits from local producers with homemade miso, soy sauces and curries. The two have developed a cooking style which seems simple and down-to-earth, but is in fact elaborate and sophisticated. In 2021, the Austrian gastronomy guide "Gault Millau" named them newcomers of the year. Together, they will take you on a culinary journey through the Lech Valley.
