Already in the 1990s, he dealt with the question of how learning processes for sustainable agriculture could be promoted in his dissertation at ETH Zurich. Later, he headed the educational publishing house for agricultural professions and the professional association for graduates in the agro-food sector. In 2016, he became an independent moderator of innovation processes for sustainable development and became actively involved in the Zurich Nutrition Forum, the Swiss Enjoyment Week, and the Swiss Animal Welfare STS, volunteering for a food system that is beneficial for humans, animals, and the environment. As an advisor, he ensures a good connection between Soil to Soul and ongoing initiatives for sustainable nutrition, in order to achieve maximum impact with the possibilities of Soil to Soul.
