Stefan Schwarzer

Physical geographer, author, and permaculture designer

Geographer Stefan Schwarzer worked for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Geneva for over 20 years. Linking global interests and goals with local action is his central concern, putting the focus on permaculture-based agriculture. Co-author of the books "The Humus Revolution" (translated title) (2017) and "Rising Against the Drought" (translated title) (2023), initiator of the symposium "Constructing Agriculture".
