Born in 1972, Balthasar Glättli has been a member of the Swiss Green Party in the canton of Zurich since 2011. He serves as a member of the Commission for Economy and Taxes (WAK) and has held the role of Party President for the Swiss Greens since June 2020. An early environmental activist, he championed initiatives like "Züri autofrei!" He pursued studies in philosophy and German literature. Drawing from his professional background in IT and migration, he enriches his political engagement. Since January 2018, he has been a joyful father to a daughter.
