Angelika Hilbeck

Agroecologist

The German-Swiss agroecologist is a senior scientist and lecturer at the Institute for Integrative Biology of the Department of Environmental Systems Science at ETH Zurich. Her work focuses on the impact of new technological developments such as genetic engineering and digitalization and their ecological risks to agricultural ecosystems. In doing so, she deliberately places an emphasis on the manifold social impacts of economic events.
