dieCuisine is an innovation cooperative that champions the concept of sustainable food and nutrition coupled with social inclusion and education. The interdisciplinary dieCuisine team operates a centre of excellence that lives the shift towards a future of regenerative food handling within an inclusive and participatory society.

dieCuisine operates unique spaces and a professional kitchen that doubles as an event location or workshop for seminars and functions. dieCuisine's in-house catering allows you to enjoy conferences and events in an environmentally-conscious manner.

As a centre of excellence, dieCuisine offers information and educational opportunities with a focus on gastronomy to interested parties and trainees from the agro-food industry. We join forces with various partners to create a range of offers, webinars and workshops that are carried out at the dieCuisine premises. The event, seminar and workshop spaces combine to form a sustainable event venue that delivers unique and exciting culinary experiences.

dieCuisine is situated on the FOGO commercial and residential estate in Zurich Altstetten. FOGO is a new part of town located a short distance from Zurich's Altstetten railway station at Vulkanplatz. It combines housing for refugees and young adults in training with innovative gastronomy, small businesses and cultural and educational offers. As well as being a place to live and work, linger and play, it is also a hub for encounters and participative projects. FOGO's outdoor space and attractive playground is open to the public. FOGO is a joint project of the Foundation for Affordable and Ecological Housing – Einfach Wohnen SEW, the Zurich professional organisation AOZ and the Youth Housing Network Juwo.

dieCuisine is committed to social inclusion and organises various projects on the topic of social sustainability and inclusion. Our culinary offers are prepared and served by refugees and differently abled people. Hailing from all nations and walks of life, dieCuisine's employees are trained by a team of professionals for the mainstream labour market.

dieCuisine runs the "Kantine mit Zukunft" (Cantine with a Future) – a model business project by the SVA Zürich (Zurich's social security office) – where the food is cooked with direct-from-the-farm organic produce according to the principles of the Planetary Health Diet: Healthy for humans, healthy for the planet.
