National Councillor & Vice President of "die Grünen Schweiz"
Marionna Schlatter has represented "die Grünen" in the National Council since 2019 and is Vice President of "die Grünen". She studied sociology at the University of Zurich to investigate the question of what can make society change its relationship with nature. She worked in the advertising industry for many years. Her passion is mushrooms: she obtained her federal diploma as a mushroom inspector at the age of 14. Since then, in addition to her political mandate, she has been active in the training and further education of mushroom experts. In 2023, together with Maurice Maggi, Martina Meier and Gerry Amstutz, she published a mushroom cookbook that won several awards.
