Heinz Reitbauer is not only one of the most successful chefs in Europe but also one of the most passionate and versatile masters of his craft. He employs private mushroom foragers, looks out for new varieties of fruit and vegetables, and refines fish-dishes that were long shunned by gourmet gastronomy, using fish such as carp. With his restaurant Steirereck in Vienna and Pogusch in Styria, he has created two platforms of international stature. Reitbauer's culinary visions and his innovative spirit have earned him and his restaurants numerous awards, including several Michelin stars and top placements on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list.
