ZHAW Showcase: A Pill for the Soil
Symactiv
01. Nov 2025
17:30 - 18:00
- Location: Karl der Grosse
- Language: DE
- Entrance: Free
- Best suited for:
Agriculture today faces depleted soils, rising input costs, and growing climate pressures. Symactiv offers a simple, scalable solution: a biologically active soil activator in pellet form a “pill for the soil.” These black pellets combine locally sourced biomass with carefully cultured microorganisms and mycorrhizal fungi. The result is healthier soil life, improved nutrient availability, better water retention, measurable humus formation, and a reduced need for synthetic fertilizers. Early field trials in Switzerland have shown significant yield increases and received strong positive feedback from farmers.
Symactiv is featured in the PREFS24 showcase (MSc Preneurship for Regenerative Food Systems, ZHAW) and collaborates closely with farmers, FiBL, seed producers, and processors. Their goal is regenerative agricultural systems that support the climate, boost crop yields, and create local value, all at once. Because “organic” was just the beginning. Now it’s time for regeneration.
This event is presented in collaboration with ZHAW.
