Practice Seminar: Living Soils, Sustainable Harvests
October 30 – November 1, 2025
Soil to Soul is dedicated to promoting healthy soils as the foundation of all agricultural production. With our hands-on seminar “Living Soils, Sustainable Harvests”, we offer practical, essential knowledge for sustainable soil management.
WHAT IS THIS PRACTICAL SEMINAR ABOUT?
As a knowledge platform and movement, Soil to Soul advocates for healthy soils as the key to a nutrient-rich food system. Our mission is to share knowledge that empowers people to protect and regenerate soil. In collaboration with the Stiftung Lebensraum and the Biodynamic Education of Switzerland, we have developed the practical seminar “Living Soils, Sustainable Harvests”. This program enables farmers to learn and apply soil-friendly and soil-building methods of food production, with a strong focus on biodynamic farming and regenerative agriculture.
Our goal was to equip farmers with concrete tools to build fertile, resilient soils and adopt more sustainable practices in the long term.
Following the great success of last year’s sold-out seminar, we were pleased to offer this proven format once again.

What Learnt the Participants?
This seminar offerd hands-on knowledge and practical tools for sustainable soil management.
Key topics included:
- Soil organisms and their role in building humus and enhancing soil fertility
- Composting techniques
- Using plants to nourish and heal the soil
- Soil cultivation methods
- Visits to two regenerative farms provided direct insights into real-world practices. The seminar concluded with participation in the Soil to Soul Symposium, where leading experts in regenerative agriculture shared their knowledge and experience.
You can find the full program below.
Who Could Participate?
This seminar was designed for professionals in agriculture who wanted to deepen their understanding of soil and adopt more regenerative practices. It was ideal for:
Farmers who want to better understand, build, and regenerate their soil
Farmers seeking to manage their land in a more soil-friendly and regenerative way
– Agricultural producers aiming to make their operations more sustainable and resilient
– Farm managers interested in regenerative methods such as effective organic fertiliser management, minimal tillage, crop rotation, and permanent soil cover
– Farms transitioning from conventional or organic agriculture to regenerative farming
– Experienced farmers looking to expand their knowledge of soil fertility and explore new, practical approaches
