Looking back at the 2023 Symposium
Soil Awareness for a Sustainable Future!
Healthy agricultural soils are the foundation for a healthy life for both humans and animals. The Soil to Soul Symposium delved into the details of this connection for the third time, illustrating over three days how humanity and the climate can expect a better future through increased respect for the soil. For the first time, the event took place at the historically preserved Tiefenbrunnen Mill in Zurich's Seefeld, where sustainability and regionalism are at the forefront all year round.
In addition to thoughtful discussions and knowledge sharing, the symposium also embraced the joy of food. Both national and international chefs showcased impressive and soil-conscious cuisine, demonstrating that sustainable eating is not about sacrifice but about enjoyment. Furthermore, on Saturday, Swiss producers enlivened the cultural area with their regional, fine, and soil-conscious products during the Soil Food & Fermentista Markets.
We are excited to share the initial impressions and highlights with you, and we look forward even more to the next symposium in 2024.
