Historic vineyards in harmony with nature!

Madlaina Erni works with passion in the historic vineyards in Misox in southern Grisons and has been running the VITICOLTURA E VINI Rohner Erni for eight years. She took over the winery from her father, who was no longer able to run it after an accident.

Madlaina attaches great importance to wine production in harmony with nature and thus promotes biodiversity. She cultivates her vineyards without insecticides and herbicides and always pays attention to soil health. She works according to the principle of a circular economy. Her sheep also help her with this, for example by fertilizing and mowing the grass. In the wine cellar, she does without machines and chemical additives, ferments each vineyard separately and produces unique wine creations.
